Too many kids get bullied and since Columbine we are learning more and more about it. <br /><br />Teaching children to be assertive and stand up for themselves is awesome. Problem is most nannies are more passive than assertive, making it hard for them to teach assertiveness to their charges.<br /><br />But, I wholeheartedly agree with role-playing with kids. My mom told me what to say to kids that were teasing a new boy at school. Once I blurted out, "Stop that. That's not funny!" the bullying stopped immediately.
