"The Little Engine That Could" is a Great Holiday Gift

Weekly Trip to the Library
Review by Lynn Wariara

The Little Engine That Could by Watty Piper is a classic story of a determined little engine that could achieve his mission by delivering toys and candies to children waiting on the other side of the mountain despite the challenges he had to go through to get there.

This book is a great gift to any child because it has a message of hope, motivation and positive thinking. As a nanny, I personally gifted this book to a child that was potty training as an inspiration towards their potty training journey. Children need inspiration and encouragement and the book. The Little Engine That Could does just that!
