Easiest Cookie Recipe Ever
The International Nanny Association (INA) published a great cookbook in 2000 entitled, Beyond Peanut Butter and Jelly: Time for Cooking with the International Nanny Association. The cookbook is a collection of recipes, tips, and ideas from members and friends of the International Nanny Association. The cookbook has my favorite cookie recipe ever that I have made many dozens of times over the years. The peanut butter cookie recipe only has three ingredients and cooks in five- to eight-minutes. Don't forget to stop by the INA web site to learn more about the in-home child care organization.
You Will Need:
1 Cup Peanut Butter (creamy or crunchy)
1 Egg, beaten
1 Cup Sugar
What to Do:
1. Combine the peanut butter, egg and sugar in a large bowl and mix well. Shape the dough into balls. Place two-inches apart on a cookie sheet. Flatten the balls using a fork.
2. Bake at 350 F degrees for five- to eight-minutes or until crispy around the edges. Remove to wire rack to cool.
Note: For best results use a natural peanut better without added sugar. If the dough appears too sticky just add a small amount of flour to stiffen.
